JET’s new generation CTP-LAM photopolymer flexo and letterpress plates offer improved highlight quality and improved plate durability.

The material’s special bonding properties and ultra thin, semi-transparent and highly elastic ablation mask layer enable the reproduction of highly stable, resilient dots. Greater support is given to the shoulders, especially of the highlight dots, resulting in smoother printing and less wear-and-tear during high-speed printing or cleaning. The plates offer improved tonal gradation, and high quality highlight reproduction.

The semi-transparent laser-ablation mask layer consists of less carbon, thus providing less pollution of the washing equipment. Furthermore it offers excellent handling properties, remaining crack-free when flexed.

JET’s new range of letterpress and dry offset plates offer excellent performance with all the main laser engraving systems on the market. Tests show outstanding linework and high-definition halftone from 0.5 % tonal value.

Specially for the narrow-web market, the compact JETCLEAN 600 ensures thorough, automatic and fast plate cleaning in a single production cycle. With its stainless steel frame, and roller chain to propel plates through the flushing, brushing, and drying processes, JETCLEAN is extremely robust. Plates are held firmly in place with a unique sticky plate system, ensuring spotless results are achieved with utmost care. The unit meets tight health and safety regulations, since it prevents human contact with any chemicals when used.

Maximum plate size is 600 mm x 850mm, enabling simultaneous processing of several plates.

JETLINE plate processing systems offer quick, easy manufacturing of water-washable photopolymer plates. Constructed according to the flow-line system, they comprise a washing section, pre-dryer, drying station, and post-exposure device, with room for a separate exposure unit under the dryer. The JETLINE 700 CTP processor is the latest addition to the range, suited for the latest generation CTP plates. It features additional spraybars and filters for an in-line mask removal during plate washing.

The Interflex wash-out programme for solvent-based photopolymer plates expands with the launch of the IF 9/13, which handles plate sizes up to 900 x 1220 mm. By its upside down washing system it offers high productivity, low solvent consumption, and delivers perfect quality results, time after time.
